Barri's music has won awards in the annual music contest at NW Alabama Music Publishing Co. Her music has been recognized each year from 2014 to 2019.
In 2019, her album, "A Reason For Every Season" won "First Place Christian CD 2019" at the contest.
In 2018, Barri's Special Digital Music Release, "SONGS BY BARRI ARMITAGE," was awarded “Best Christian Album 2018.” The special release was a compilation of eight musical tracks from two of her recent albums. Five of the featured tracks were from her 2018 album “A REASON FOR EVERY SEASON” and three tracks featured her new spoken song format that highlights the poems that inspire the music. The three tracks are found on her album, “PERFECTED BY YOUR LOVING HANDS – SPOKEN SONGS.”
In 2017, she won in two categories: Recitation and Christian Country, both from her song, "Cast Your Bread Upon The Waters."
In 2016, her song, "Look At God, Not Goliath" won "Song of the Year" at the contest.
In 2015, her song, "Father, Forgive Them" won "Best Biblical Song" at the contest.
In 2014, her album, "Singing Scriptures, Vol. 3" won "Best Biblical Album" at the contest.

This album has won "First Place Christian CD 2019" in the song contest at NW Alabama Music Publishing Co. The prizes were a Matthew guitar, a gold album plaque, and the CD has been sent to 200 radio stations worldwide. We recently received a positive review from a French radio station. The DJ especially likes the song "We Wait For Your Salvation."
