These songs sing a story of God’s wheel of appointed times. Weeping may last a long night, but joy will come in the morning, especially that great Day when Jesus Christ returns. As we ride the spokes up and down with the seasons, our Shepherd tenderly cares for us. Nothing shall we lack. God has a reason for every season: a time to sow, a time to reap, a time to be young, a time to grow old, a time for affliction, a time to be rescued, a time for patient waiting, a time for recompense, a time when the world is blind, a time when all will know God.
